Partner with us to host events
Use our search feature on the homepage or visit the Discover page. You can filter by location, genre, date, and price to find events that match your interests.
Navigate to the event page and click 'Book Now'. You'll need to create an account and provide payment information for paid events. Free events only require registration.
Yes, you can cancel bookings up to 24 hours before the event starts. Visit your dashboard to manage your bookings.
Browse the marketplace, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You'll receive order tracking information once your purchase is confirmed.
Authors and organizers can list books and merchandise through their dashboard. Go to 'My Books' or 'My Merchandise' to create new listings. BookGather charges a $1 + 2.5% platform fee on sales — the same low rate as ticket sales.
Shipping is handled by individual sellers. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by seller and are displayed during checkout. Digital items are available for immediate download after purchase.
Sign up as an author and complete your profile with published works and bio. Our team will review your submission within 5-7 business days.
Sign up as a venue and complete your venue profile. Authors can then request to host events at your location.
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and digital wallets through Stripe. All transactions are secure and encrypted.
Go to their profile and click 'Message', or use the Messages section in your dashboard. You can message authors, venues, and organizers directly.
Go to My Bookings in your dashboard, click Cancel on the booking you'd like to cancel, and optionally request a refund. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
Yes! From My Bookings, click 'Resell Ticket' on your confirmed booking. Tickets are sold at face value to protect buyers. You'll be notified when your ticket sells.
After attending an event, you can leave a review from your bookings page or from the author/venue profile. Reviews help the community discover great authors and venues.
Badges reward you for community participation — attending events, leaving reviews, and more. Complete challenges to earn special badges that are displayed on your profile.
You can ask questions on any event page before the event. Authors can answer directly, and important Q&A can be pinned for visibility. You'll be notified when your question gets a reply.
When the seller ships your order, you'll receive an email with tracking information. You can also check your order status anytime in the Orders section of your dashboard.
