Karen Sohl Ellison is a lifelong storyteller, former communications executive, entrepreneur, and first-time children's book author with a passion for preserving local history. As an active member of the Wildomar Historical Society, Karen joined fellow members in creating this book to inspire children and families to discover the fascinating history, landmarks, and hidden stories that surround them every day. Through engaging adventures and memorable characters, Karen hopes to spark curiosity about the community's rich heritage while encouraging young readers to become explorers of their own hometowns. In a meaningful commitment to preserving Wildomar's history, 100% of the proceeds from every book sold—both online and in person—are donated directly to the Wildomar Historical Society. These funds help support the Society's mission to collect and preserve historical artifacts, provide educational programs for the community, and work toward establishing a museum where Wildomar's unique history can be shared with future generations.
