Jonathan David is a novelist and poet whose work explores the emotional arc of modern love, from first connection to lasting commitment. His writing blends slow-burn romance, coming-of-age storytelling, and erotic intensity, rooted in themes of consent, agency, and intentional intimacy. Jonathan believes love stories don't end after the first kiss; that's where they get interesting. His characters wrestle with communication, longing, grief, family, and choice: the quiet spaces where relationships are made and remade. He writes explicitly to evoke the magic of the relationship between woman and man, honestly examining how desire shapes and unites two people across the years. His storytelling is influenced by musicians whose work evolves emotionally over time, particularly Taylor Swift and Sting. Like them, he's drawn to themes of heartbreak, self-discovery, partnership, family, and the legacy of love. Jonathan started writing poetry in high school, spent years writing sonnets for his wife, and has recently started writing novels for you. When he isn't writing, Jonathan enjoys hiking the mountains of the Western Carolinas, foraging mushrooms and photographing waterfalls. Most of his days start with a bold Americano. He grew up in Kentucky, lived in Germany, and worked in France. He now resides in South Carolina with his family.
